Weekly Agenda- for the coming 11/24-11/26/08 week

The Plan

Now that presentations are over we are focusing in on how we are going to go about doing our bake sale. We really want to be successful at this bake sale by earning big bucks!
I guess that is just the competitive "Stride" in us. :)
Here is the agenda, which is based off of last week's meeting notes.

  • First, we feel that a table at the Live Oak farmer's market might be the ticket to gathering substantial funds.
  • We are pondering that tight wallets due to the economy will make gathering charity more complicated for us students this semester, and what might be some good strategies in "marketing" our table to overcome this nervousness.
  • Next is just delegating and determining the logistics of our final plan.
  • I.E., getting a collapsible table, napkins, plates, making high quality baked goods, buying the materials, picking a weekend with good weather that works for all/most members.
  • Samantha and Katrina will probably split up the baking, which will reduce the load of baking by having two talented cooks with two separate ovens!
  • We are also looking into possible donations from local bakeries to cut down costs, and extra work loads.

Thank you!
